Tristar Beverage in Chattanooga is seeking individuals interested in a professional Delivery Representative career through an on-the-job training opportunity to obtain a Class A CDL.

The Delivery Helper will assist and/or perform the tasks required of a Delivery Representative. Duties include unloading each retailer’s order and placing it in the designated area, filling all coolers and shelves, and straightening all products in the retail space, among other duties. This is physically demanding work due to the weight of beverage products and the volume of product that goes out for delivery each day, and requires the ability to lift up to 70 pounds repetitiously and manipulate (push/pull) heavier weights, such as kegs of beer weighing approximately 162 pounds.

Delivery Helpers are required to obtain a CDL learner permit during the first 90 days of employment and will be considered for a pay increase at that time. Applicants who already have a CDL learner permit at the time of application will receive priority consideration and a higher rate of pay.

This is a full-time regular position, Monday through Friday, starting at 5 a.m. and ending when all deliveries are completed. You get paid while you train!

Familiarity with the Chattanooga market and surrounding areas is a plus. The ideal candidate will be a true “people person" with a strong commitment to excellent customer service who will enjoy being out in the trade with the customers and taking care of their product delivery needs. The Delivery Helper represents the Company, so professional appearance and conduct are required.

Qualified candidates will possess the following:

• Valid driver's license
• Driving record that is acceptable to the Company (few or no infractions)
• Ability to obtain a CDL learner permit within 90 days of hire
• Minimum age 21
