Dentistry by Design has an immediate opening for a Dentist position to **travel between our Port St. Lucie,Fl and Jupiter, Fl Practices** temporarily. This is a part-time position, at least 3 days a week 10am-7pm including Saturday hours that offers competitive pay and the possibility of transitioning to a full-time benefit eligible employee.

Responsibilities

· Completes routine dental services, anticipatory guidance, preventive and screening components to patients.

· Demonstrates sound judgment and decision-making skills

· Ability to diagnose oral diseases and create a detailed treatment plan

· Create and implement treatment plans to maintain or restore the oral health

· Interpreting x-rays and diagnostic tests

· Proficient in Endo is preferred

· Restorative dentistry – fillings, crown, removable & fixed prosthesis, implant restoration, oral surgery, and extractions

· Certified in Invisalign / Clear aligner therapy

· Implant placement is preferred

· Proficient in digital scanning is preferred

· Maintain Dr/ Hyg partnership

• Evaluates patient’s acute problems thoroughly and manages appropriately (including medications, imaging, and labs)

· Maintaining a detailed client history, which include past injuries and/or health conditions

· Consistently closes encounters within 24 hours to generate visit summary for patient flow and continuity of care

Additional Duties

· Communicate and work regularly with the Office Manager and dentistry staff

· Perform job responsibilities with strong attention to detail and accuracy

· Move, carry, and lift objects weighing less than 20lbs without assistance

· Abide by all compliance regulations including but not limited to Joint Commission, HIPAA, and OSHA

Qualifications

· Active State of Florida, Department of Health License (MD, DO, DDS, DMD, RDH)

· Valid DEA license
