56 hours/2 weeks on the
day shift and eligible for full benefits package..
The Department Admin Assistant will provide superior customer service answering phone calls and responding to inquiries efficiently and accurately related to prescription assistance programs.
- Responsible for greeting customers, providing information, communicating with departments. Performs various clerical duties such as answering telephones, recording messages, preparing schedules, copying materials, typing, filing, and other duties as assigned.
- Exhibits excellent customer relations with visitors, co-workers, and vendors.
- Greets customers in a polite, prompt, helpful manner. Provides any necessary instructions/directions. Inform appropriate person/department of person’s arrival.
- Answers phones in a pleasant manner and deals with customer needs expeditiously.
- Uses computer system to generate information as required.
- Updates information, obtains signatures as necessary.
- Maintains clean, orderly office area.
- Supplements reception tasks by assisting with photocopying, computer input/typing, scheduling, and other work as directed.
- Communicates in a respectful manner.
- Ensures a safe, secure environment.
- Excellent customer service skills required. Ability to work in a fast paced environment, answer busy phones, problem solving ability. Ability to maintain polite and courteous image both in person and on the telephone

- Demonstrates respect for others and conducts self in calm, purposeful and professional manner.

- Understands and follows safety procedures specifically related to job duties. Demonstrates functional knowledge of emergency plans and utilizes proper infection control techniques.
- Is punctual, and complies with department standards regarding attendance.
- Uses time effectively and actively participates in productivity of department.
- Identifies and meets needs of customers.
- Continuously works to improve skills and interpersonal relationships.
Experience
- None to 1 year customer service, front desk and/or department assistant experience
