Overview:
Credence Management Solutions, LLC, is hiring a Digital Systems Architect who will be primarily responsible for supporting AFRL/RY at WPAFB, OH.
  • Note: This position is not on contract yet put is projected to be added in the next few months.
Responsibilities:
  • Accomplish engineering tasks necessary to support management operations functions.
  • Apply expert knowledge and mastery of advanced engineering theories, principles, concepts, standards, and methods.
  • Ensure assigned projects remain consistent with program objectives, costs, schedules, performance criteria, and existing policies.
  • Advise Program Office and Engineering leadership in the process of developing, refining and implementing a system architecture for complex aerospace propulsion systems.
  • Attend meetings, generate plans, author documents, and participate in and provide advice and direction to a consortium of major defense contractors.
  • Develop and implement systems architecture, style guides, and all appropriate interface control models for the integration of complex sensing systems.
  • Communicate clearly with technical representatives from industry and government stakeholders managing the direction and decisions.
  • Take an active role in all activities required to define a mission vignette and system architecture.
  • Determine the appropriate level of model fidelity for inclusion in government trade studies.
  • Facilitate the selection of an optimal sensor system that will make the greatest impact to the government mission vignette.
Qualifications:
  • Clearance: TS/SCI
  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MBSE or AFSIM.
  • Experience with Rational Dynamic Object-Oriented Requirements System (DOORS) or similar requirements with management experience and AFRL M&S Environments.
  • Be familiar with DoD, Air Force and lower-level policy, publications, supplements, and manuals (e.g., DoDI 5000.2) as well as other (e.g., AFMC and AFLMC) applicable acquisition and engineering documents and regulations, systems, criteria, processes, and guides, as required.
  • Knowledge of agile development methodologies as well as agile digital tools like Confluence, JIRA, and GitLab.
