Position Summary:
In this role, you will evolve medical content capabilities and establish a strategy that allows Bristol Myers Squibb to meet customer and patient needs by providing timely, relevant, medical content. You’ll positively impact the company by enabling better relationships with our customers across all channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive innovation culture in the medical content capability landscape. Coordinate with business and omni-channel capability leads to evolve medical content capabilities with a metrics- and analytics-driven approach

  • Identify opportunities for synergies and collaboration within and across markets and within and across commercialization.

  • Provide expertise into the ongoing evolution of medical content capabilities and operations by working with business leads and WCC on critical business priorities

  • Accountable and manages operational model regarding navigation, workflow and processes for the medical content management systems including digital asset management repositories and content playbook

  • Escalation point of contact to provide guidance and advisement to senior stakeholders and external partners with managing and delivering medical content through the end-to-end content management process

  • Maintain view of the competitive landscape across the pharma industry to identify and drive best practices

  • Oversee the business administrator tasks for the medical content and publications systems including; UAT script writing/execution, metadata adjustments, issue resolution, access request processing, release prioritization planning, etc.

  • Manage vendor business relationships for Medical Content Capabilities

  • Establish an above brand medical content strategy and identify mechanisms for pull through, management and governance for medical modular content and personalization

  • Work with key stakeholders across BMS to establish and create KPIs measuring the success/learnings of all medical content initiatives

  • Serve as the primary connection point to medical and view across the enterprise content capability needs

  • Lead on new and evolving content capabilities and key enhancements within the content capability ecosystem, and work with a matrix of partners to facilitate execution of initiatives

  • Interface with senior levels of leadership on key initiatives to educate and drive alignment


Qualifications & Experience:

  • B.S./B.A.; Preferred MBA or MS; or equivalent experience value

  • Minimum of 6+ years of business experience or similar experience

  • Experience leading and participating on cross-functional and/or global teams; enterprise change experience preferred

  • In depth knowledge of Medical Capabilities Content & Publications tools & systems (Veeva Vault, Datavision) highly desirable.

  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry solutions environments and trends.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Proven ability to manage and participate on matrix teams effectively.

  • Experience with the software development lifecycle (SDLC)

  • Demonstrated facilitation, business process design.

  • Experience working with external vendor partners to deliver results.

  • Experience working in operational role.
