America’s Favorite Jeweler, Ross-Simons (a division of Luxury Brand Holdings) is seeking a
Director of Ecommerce based in our Cranston, RI office. This position will report to the Chief Marketing Officer and will be responsible for managing all aspects of the e-commerce business for www.ross-simons.com and rspure.com. The ideal candidate will have a track record of success in revenue generation, e-commerce growth, customer retention, CRM and social media in a direct-to-consumer company. The position is ideal for a seasoned e-commerce professional and brand steward with a demonstrated history of driving significant growth.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
Oversee a strategic e-commerce growth plan to drive site revenue by building a best-in-class site experience that tells the Ross-Simons brand and merchandise stories- Oversee the day-to-day operation of marketing on the website.
- Manage the user experience on the site and via CRM to improve category growth, remove path-to-purchase obstacles, and improve site conversion rate.
- Lead daily web operations and seasonal storytelling/merchandising strategies, in collaboration with the creative and merchandising teams and seasonal ecommerce strategies
- Drive AOV/AIV, retention and reactivation via CRM (email / SMS) and Referral program, while managing the promotional calendar for the business
- Leverage native SFCC (Sales Force Commerce Cloud) and CRM platform lifecycle capabilities to activate segmentation and personalization strategies that improve overall response rates
- Perform ongoing analysis of site traffic, merchandise performance and key metrics such as AOV, UPT, and conversion rates
- In collaboration with the media / acquisition teams, leverage LTV models to drive strategic investments in key segments and cohorts; lead, manage and improve our existing customer loyalty program
- Analyze business metrics to track selling, identify key trends and maximize opportunities in the assortment to achieve continued growth and profitability
- Establish, measure and publish KPI’s on an ongoing basis to monitor and adjust execution to meet or exceed plan
- Build and develop a leading team of eCommerce and CRM experts that are sought after for the capabilities, knowledge, and results
- Manage expense budgeting and forecasting as well as third-party contracts, expenses, and relationships
Experience and Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- 8-10 years of professional Marketing and E-Commerce experience with consumer goods including site merchandising, Google analytics, social media marketing
- Experienced leader with 5+ years’ experience managing eCommerce teams. Proven experience building, mentoring, and retaining a collaborative and high performing team
- Obsessed with how success will be measured, focused on data driven decision making, and finding the story in the data
- Entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding business acumen and experience with modeling, planning and budgeting; a proven ability to manage and generate new business with an eye on ROI performance & profitability
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to simplify and break down complex situations and subjects into easy to understand concepts and actions
- Bias toward action, problem solving, and making data driven decisions.
- Enthusiastic and energetic demeanor which helps foster a positive working environment
- Strong interpersonal, leadership and relationship management skills, with the ability to lead / collaborate with direct reports and cross-functional teams
- Ability to multi-task, problem-solve and effectively communicate in a challenging, fast-paced environment
- Adaptable to change and receptive to feedback and suggestions
- Experience with automated campaign management or segmentation tools, regarding site optimization and/or CRM
