Job description
We're looking for a Director of Nursing with a minimum of ten years' experience and expertise in psychiatry and/or pediatric nursing. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and supporting a medical staff of more than fifteen nurses, as well as overseeing the allocation of more than fifty medical aides, orderlies and technicians. He or she will also play a leadership role in the hiring process for new medical staff, the annual review process of all current medical staff, the orientation process for new employees and the ongoing professional development of his or her team members.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with other physicians.
- Managing nurse staff to serve all patients in a timely and effective manner.
- Maintaining communication with all disciplines involved in patient's care.
- Ensuring quality humanistic patient care is provided to all patients at all times.
