PURPOSE
Videray Technologies exists to create a safer society across the globe. We have created the world’s most powerful, user-friendly, and portable Handheld Backscatter X-ray Imager to help our clients see through surfaces to detect illicit drugs, contraband, and potential threats.
Our technology is already making progress on this mission domestically and internationally in over 65 countries. You’ll be working with a fun, smart, and driven group of individuals to ensure we can continue to fulfill this mission in the years to come!
Requirements
POSITION
Responsibilities:
- Owning and hitting/exceeding annual sales targets within assigned territory and accounts
- Developing and executing a strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base
- Strategically research, call, and email prospects to acquire more customers
- Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships
- Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals, presentations, and demonstrations.
- Travel up 50%
Basic Qualifications:
- BA/BS or equivalent experience and 8+ years prior relevant experience
- Self-starter, comfortable working with small teams in a fast pasted startup environment.
- Proven sales experience, meeting or exceeding targets
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
- Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services
- Proven ability to position products against competitors
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior business development experience in any federal market segment
- Familiarity with online tools used for Federal Government solicitations
- Former law enforcement or military experience
