Nestled among live oaks and gentle rolling hills in Lakeway, Texas, Hops & Thyme (just outside of Austin) is a beer garden that serves comfort meals and gourmet burgers and Sandwiches.

Job Summary:

This is a part time job, day shift Hours from 10:00 am - 3:00 or 4:00 pm. 4-6 days a week. The dishwasher follows the kitchen manager instructions. for the daily operations of the kitchen. Duties include light dishwashing, light Cleaning, and possibly some prep work. Our dishwashers work closely with the kitchen manager to to establish and enforce safety standards and sanitation guidelines. Our dishwashers will work with the rest of the team to create a safe, happy and healthy work environment for all staff.

Dishwasher Responsibilities:

• Positive attitude, team player
• Keep work area clean, sanitized, and organized
• Coordinate with team members ensuring a smooth running kitchen area.
• Assist with re-stocking of all plate ware and food items as needed
• Ensure compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations
• Perform other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required from time to time.

Skills:

• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Good verbal communication skills.
• 0-3 years of previous experience preferred.
• Emotional control in fast-paced environments

Physical Requirements:

• The dishwasher will be required to hear, stand, walk, sit, use hands and arms, stoop, kneel, or crouch.

Job Type: Full-time or Part time Shifts 3-8 hours as required.
