SUMMARY:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinating the assigning of equipment to driver specialist.
- Dispatching driver specialist to adequately cover daily runs.
- Managing in house day to day driver specialist issues.
- Accepting or declining back-hauls based on driver availability and back-haul location.
- Troubleshooting Tripmaster and Infotrax systems.
- Managing store issues pertaining to driver schedules. "Where's my truck" calls.
- Managing on the road driver specialist issues ( breakdowns, accidents, back-haul vendor delays, etc.)
REQUIREMENTS:
- Associate's degree (two-year program) or equivalent formal training program.
- Three to five years experience in Transportation, Logistics, Operations Management, and/or General Business.
