Percheron is looking for a Division Order Analyst that is local to Houston TX and willing to work in-house (M-F) with one of our clients out of their City Centre Houston office.
Qualifications should include Quorum/QDO-QLS and SAP experience, GIS knowledge a plus, 5+ years of relevant work experience. Required to adhere to project policies, guidelines, and procedures and is responsible to meet project timelines and objectives.

  • Analyze title opinions, oil and gas leases, probate, conveyances, and curative to determine ownership of production proceeds from oil and gas wells.
  • Assist with land needs for well work including contracting working interest partners, interfacing with current and prospective mineral interest owners
  • Collaborate with landmen to acquire curative for title requirements
  • Create and maintain division of interests and corresponding joint interest billing and revenue (pay) decks including marketing burden groups and BPO and APO decks when necessary
  • Generate and distribute division and transfer orders
  • Verify company interest on any outside operated division order
  • Handle and address royalty and working interest inquiries regarding division of interests
  • Compile requisite record title documents to process changes in mineral, royalty, and working interest ownership
  • Process pay code changes (suspend or release owner interests)
  • Maintain business associate information for all owners, partners, and lessors including contact information and tax ID
  • Update property master for new wells and changes in well statuses on existing wells
  • Quorum (QDO) knowledge and set up of new wells
  • Interface with accounting to resolve royalty and working interest pay and suspense issues
  • Monitor and process lease obligations, expirations, payouts, and shut-in payments
  • Extensive knowledge of interpreting lease language for royalty provisions.
  • Comfortable in working with the Legal Department on special projects
  • Calculations of interest including fixed vs floating interest
  • Analyzes conveyance documents, estate proceedings, and assignments in order to process ownership changes including working partners
  • Ability to work within strict time constraints and changing priorities efficiently
  • Review title documents including real property legal descriptions to assess real property boundaries
  • Possess a detailed understanding of ArcGIS Online Platform & QGIS functionality and application
  • Experience utilizing SQL, Python, Java coding language a plus



Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s or Law degree preferred
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience
  • Solid knowledge of Real Property Law and O&G agreements interpretation.
  • Strong technical acumen with MS Office suite
  • Experience with SAP and MyQuorum Systems preferred
  • Experience utilizing Spotfire and Power Bi preferred
  • Knowledge of ArcGIS and QGIS is preferred, but not required
