Mills River Dog Camp is looking for full time or part time groomer or bather for baths, nails and full service express grooms for dog camp clients. We are looking to add an experienced groomer or bather to help care for the grooming needs of our campers and act as the ambassador for grooming. They will be in charge of bathing, grooming, nail trims and ear cleaning of dogs in boarding and day care in a one in one out fashion as well as maintaining a clean work space and keeping the area stocked with supplies. Grooming clients will be in camp throughout the day and can be done at your pace with plenty of help if needed for rowdy pups.

*At least one year prior grooming experience is required for groomers.

*Prior bathing experience in a professional setting for bathers.

*Groomers must provide their own clippers, blades, shears and guard combs.

*We are open to suggestions for modifications needed to the grooming space.

Our camp prides in being an open and inviting space to work and play for dogs and their people. A welcoming, gentle and personable attitude is a must.

With a majority of bath clients being boarders our preferred schedule will be Thursdays to Mondays or at least every weekend.

Wage will be open for discussion, either a hourly or commission rate based on the role.

This is a brand new position and we are very excited to be able to offer a more professional grooming service to our clients. We are looking or someone to help us take on this next big step and be with us for the long haul.

Pay: $8.54 - $17.60 per hour
