Driver (part-time)
Automotive Industry – Peachtree City, GA
This is a part-time role for 3 days per week but can go up to 5 days per week in the future.
Candidates must be able to commute to Peachtree City to pickup a car that is used for testing the car radio & GPS signals.
This is a long-term contract
The daily driving distance ranges from 50 to 200 miles per day.
- The vehicles will comprise of a test fleet: small, medium to large cars, SUV’s models.
- We will be assigning you the vehicle once you report to Peachtree City GA
- The road tests will involve vehicle component road tests for GPS navigation and infotainment devices (in-dash electronics).
- The primary tasks will be driving & regular vehicle maintenance while 1-2 engineers will be assigned to perform the tests.
Must be able to perform daily vehicle safety check such as:
- - Check / Top up fluids
- - Check / top up tire pressure
- - Be able to wash & maintain clean vehicle
- - Be able to perform tire changes in case of flat.
PAY & WORK HOURS:
· The w2 hourly rate is $16/hr but no benefits are currently being offered. However the following benefits will be available once the contract transitions to 40 hours per week in the future.
(50% medical. A total of 15 days total paid-time-off per year comprising of:
- 5 days PTO per year +
- 10 paid holidays per year)
OR
- 1099 Rate of: 15 to $17/hour (no benefits)
- $0.75/hour rate increases every 12 months.
- # of hours per week: 24 to 32
· Working hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm with a 30min lunch break or 8:30am to 5pm with a 30 min lunch break.
Candidates will require:
- A clean MVR / DMV driving record for the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a criminal & drug test.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
