Posting Details: Full-time day position- Surrey Place Description:
Performs the primary functions of chauffeured transportation for the residents of Surrey Place. % of Time Spent Principle Accountabilities
1. Maintains transportation logs 2%
2. Performs inspection of vehicle daily 2%
3. Transports residents to scheduled appointments and activities 75%
4. Provides courier service as needed or directed 2%
5. Acts as personal shopper for residents with appropriate approval 2%
6. Performs simple errands for other departments 2%
7. Maintains appointment schedule of resident transports 5%
8. Responsible for cleaning the exterior and interior of van 5%
9. Maintains emergency kit in van
10. Performs other job duties as assigned 5%
Experience:
1. Current Chauffeurs license 2. High School graduate 3. Previous transportation experience preferred. 4. Basic CPR 5. Verbal and cognitive ability are necessary 6. Hearing and Visual acuity essential 7. Motor coordination and manual dexterity are required The assessment, care and treatment provided by the staff will be consistent with the specific age related needs of the patient. The staff is competent to care for patient age groups including the adult and geriatric patient.
Working Conditions:
