Are you up for a challenge? If so, we want to hear from you! We are seeking a passionate, creative, team player who can also operate independently to join the Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) team.

In this role, as a Social and Health Program Consultant 4, you will serve as a program specialist for Employment and Day programs at our offices in Everett or Lynnwood, WA. You will be responsible to develop and provide regional consultation, training, and support for case management staff and our county partners. Some of what you'll do
  • Functions as the general employment specialist for case management and supervisory staff
  • Provide regional policy direction and training regarding employment and day programs
  • Act as the primary point of contact for county coordinators
  • Review all requests for employment services policy exceptions
  • Collect, analyze and provide program information data for regional ternary reports
  • Develop and conduct training
  • Assist with preparation for administrative hearings
  • Collaborate to develop and deliver regional training
  • Participate in regional and statewide workgroups

What we're looking for:
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Thorough understanding of analyzing, formatting, and presenting data using Excel software
  • A track record of managing and leveraging partnerships
  • Ability to present complex issues in plain talk
  • Excellent time management skills, able to prioritize work and meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively build relationships and a collaborative approach to problem-solving
  • Training experience

Who should apply?
  • Professionals with one year of experience as a Social and Health Program Consultant 3
    Or
  • Two years of experience as a Social and Health Program Consultant 2
    Or
  • Bachelor's degree in social work, a health or social science, public administration or a related field, and five years of professional experience in planning, administering or delivering social services including experience with investigation, regulatory, or quality assurance systems
    Or
  • Master's degree in social work, a health or social science, public administration or a related field and four years of professional experience in planning, administering or delivering social services including experience with investigation, regulatory, or quality assurance systems
