Early Childhood Teacher

As a rapidly expanding company, we invite you to grow with us as we provide an exceptional preschool experience for every child. Kensington School is seeking experienced Early Childhood Teachers to join our teaching staff.

Kensington School is a full-day private school & childcare for infants through Kindergarten age, with thirteen locations in the Chicago suburbs.

Responsibilities of a Kensington School Lead Teacher

Kensington Lead Teachers are responsible for carrying out what “Growing Up Kensington” truly means. Our Lead Preschool Teachers develop lesson plans based on our Project Based Learning topics, participate in staff trainings & in-services, utilize Kensington School benchmark assessments, and build lasting relationships with children, parents and colleagues. Our Lead Teachers maintain a healthy, safe and positive learning experience for each individual child, and ensure compliance with DCFS daycare standards and NAEYC standards.

Teacher Assistants

Full-Time Teacher Assistant compensation starts at $15/hr at Kensington School!

We have the perfect full time opportunity for you, where you will be appreciated for the Preschool Teacher Assistant that you are, as well as be given the opportunity to advance your Early Childhood career with Kensington School.

Responsibilities of a Kensington School Teacher Assistant

Kensington Teacher Assistants work alongside our Lead Teachers in carrying out what “Growing Up Kensington” means. Teacher Assistants, with the guidance of our Lead Teachers, ensure compliance with DCFS daycare standards and NAEYC standards. Teacher Assistants are involved with the daily physical care of our children, assist with implementing our innovative curriculum, and build relationships with children, parents and colleagues, in an effort to instill a life-long curiosity and excitement for learning.
