Job description
Conduct research and analysis on Macro and microeconomic data and trends, and provides analysis and interpretation on economic relationships to assist in the identification of solutions to problems arising from monetary policy. Review and analyze economic data in order to prepare reports detailing result of his/her investigation, and stay abreast of economic changes impacting the organization. Organize data into reports format and arrange graphic illustrations of research findings. On the basis of economic conditions, advise management on implications for the mortgage business and recommends modifications to management's lending policy. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within mortgage industry. Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and business objectives. Must have experience in creating economic and risk analysis model as they apply to mortgage, and in interest rate forecasting and modeling.
Bachelor's degree in Economics, and minimum 5 years of experience required.
