We are seeking a motivated and confident ELECTRICAL ESTIMATOR to be a member of our preconstruction team. This individual must be knowledgeable in the estimating of industrial electrical systems and proficient in estimating software (preferably Accubid).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Estimate labor, material and time requirements for new projects by gathering proposals, drawings, specifications and related documents. At times, leading the estimating process for a project.
- Coordinate and participate in pre-bid, pre-construction, and walk-through meetings with internal and external customers, clients and owners.
- Developing scopes of work for sub-contractors based on contractual documents including M/WBE utilization, initial analyzation and follow-up reporting.
- Demonstrate thorough understanding of the contract documents: Review and understand all contract requirements including specifications, terms and conditions, scope of work and contract schedule.
- Coordinate with internal groups such as Engineering, Pre-fabrication, Purchasing, Marketing and Accounting to ensure a successful project submission and outcome.
- Understand the competitive landscape: Advise management on the expected range of competitive estimates to allow for an informed bid submission.
Location:
Onsite at the PayneCrest Electric St. Louis office in Olivette, Missouri.

QUALIFICATIONS :
- BS in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering or similar, or equivalent industry experience
- 3+ years of relevant job experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Experience with Bluebeam Revu and CAD/BIM software is a plus.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
