Job description

Fives Group is looking for qualified Electricians for immediate job opportunities in the Detroit, MI area. These will be day shift positions with occasional overtime required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for wiring and building industrial control panels based on schematics, blueprints, and/or wiring diagrams
• Performing point to point wiring, using standard wiring procedures including proper wire routing, stripping, crimping, etc.
• Fabricating and building panels, laying out components, building electrical enclosures/assemblies, controls wiring, etc.
• Field wiring machines and automation equipment
• Wiring and labeling electrical sub panels and enclosures based on blueprints/electrical schematics
• Mounting and interconnecting components to equipment based on blueprints/electrical schematics

Required Skills & Experience:

• 2+ years of Machine Tool Electrician, electrical panel building, and machine wiring experience, preferably with various types of automation and robotics equipment
• Strong electrical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
• Final test check and troubleshooting.
• Experience with basic power and hand tools, multimeters, other basic electrical tools
• Additional experience with mechanical troubleshooting and assembly is preferred
• Good organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and keeping equipment/work area in a clean and orderly fashion

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
