Electronic Assembler-Full Time

A growing and well established Pittsburgh area engineering and manufacturing company is looking for an electronic assembler, to be part of a small manufacturing team to aid in the production of power quality equipment. This position will be working Monday-Friday on a shift from 8:15AM-5PM.

Job Description

This is an entry level opportunity, no prior experience required and paid training! Experienced candidates also welcome! General responsibilities include;

• Assist in the assembly of electronic panels and equipment
• Hand crimping and assembly of wire harnesses per instruction
• Use of various hand tools and certain power tools to complete production tasks
• Unpacking, sorting, labeling, and stocking of production materials
• Assist in the packaging and crating of outgoing shipments

To best succeed for this position, you should have the following skills/experience:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Manual dexterity and the ability to work productively on a repetitive basis is required
• Experience in use of hand tools is preferred
• Must possess positive and respectful attitude, work well with others, maintain a high sense of urgency and attention to detail, be adaptable and be safety conscious.
• Physical Requirements; this position requires the ability to move on a continuous basis in order to efficiently get to various work areas, ability to use fine manipulation skills and lifting of up to 40 pounds
• The ability to read, speak and understand the English language is required in order to interpret the work instructions, diagrams, and procedures necessary to perform work tasks and comprehend the documents that comprise our Quality System
• Experience in manufacturing, service or assembly would be helpful
• Background Check will be performed
