Our organization is looking for an experienced and motivated school Director (or "Principal") to lead our K-8 Montessori school in Waterford. Waterford Montessori Academy has 2 campuses, one K-8 and one PreK – 5. Each campus has more than 200 students. We have amazing teachers, staff, students, and families, and all of us have worked collaboratively to build a program with documented success and continuing improvement. This is an opportunity to advance a good program to greatness.

The perfect candidate would have 1) Montessori training and 2) classroom experience, and have successfully led 3) elementary and 4) middle school programs, but that candidate is a unicorn, right? The Director is responsible for setting goals and objectives, developing strategies, and managing day-to-day operations. This position requires excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills as well as the ability to motivate and lead a team.

Responsibilities:

· Lead and direct the campus to ensure that goals are met.

· Develop and implement strategies to achieve organizational objectives.

· Manage the budget and resources of the organization.

· Help motivate staff and students to perform at their best.

· Provide guidance and support to team members.

· Develop relationships with stakeholders and partners.

· Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
