Skills:
The specific development role is to support WiFi/BT/NFC design/development/manufacturing across the product line, including:
- Debugging Windows WiFi/BT/NFC drivers, including functionality, performance, and power consumption issues.
- Building new WiFi/BT/NFC manufacturing tools for future Surface products.
- Investigating manufacturing issues, with a goal toward eliminating process errors, reducing manufacturing time, and increasing yield.
- International travel on occasion to assist in bringing up new production lines.
Key software and hardware technologies:
- Visual Studio development environment
- Microsoft Windows Kernel Debugger
- Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
- GIT source control
- Proprietary third-party WiFi/BT/NFC development and manufacturing tools.
- Litepoint test hardware or equivalents.
Required Qualifications:
- A BS or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- A minimum of two years of experience in WiFi/RF development/debugging.
- A minimum of one year experience developing and debugging Windows device drivers.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Excellent C/C++ coding skills.
- Experience with Perl, Python, and/or Powershell scripting languages.
Must have Skills:
- WiFi/RF development/debugging.
- minimum of one year experience developing and debugging Windows device drivers.
