Brown & Brown Community Advisor Team (BBCAT) is seeking an Account Manager for our Employee Benefits team in Perrysburg, OH!

Our structure: Unlike many of our peers, we support our account managers with a team of sub-department specialists. These teammates support our account managers by providing: Marketing and Analytics, Claims Advocacy, Eligibility Support, Technology Support, and Education & Engagement Support.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
  • Responsible for the day-to-day management of 25 to 35 corporate client accounts.
  • Responsible for the annual management of the client’s compliance, administrative management, and strategies associated with their health & welfare employee benefits package
  • Maintain accurate records of actions taken within the agency management systems
  • Follow agency guidelines, policies, and procedures
  • Work with our Account Executives & Consultants to promote high retention of business
  • Pursue a course of personal and professional development
  • Prepare and manage all client contracting and quality control
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
This position requires routine or periodic local travel, which may require the teammate to drive their own vehicle or a rental vehicle; additionally, the position requires high-speed internet connectivity and the ability to have a designated workspace at your home.

Required
  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or 4+ years of employee benefits industry experience
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Life and Health Insurance License through the State of Ohio or the ability to obtain within 60 days of hire
Knowledge & experience with:
  • Medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance programs
  • Section 125 POP, HCFSA & DCFSA, Section 105 HRA programs
  • ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, ACA
