Engineering Document Control II
Job description
Jerry Pittman is hiring an Engineering Document Control II Specialist in Mobile, AL. This is not a remote position and requires US Citizenship or Permanent Residence.
REPORTS TO: Document Control Coordinator
AUTHORITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Control and issue of engineering documents including drawings, technical manuals
and vendor drawings
- Issue, receive and track to Production, Client and Regulatory Body
- Tracking all issued documents through their approval process.
- Upload and download documents to secure websites
- Confer with document originators or engineering liaison personnel to resolve
discrepancies and compile required changes to documents.
- Operation of reproduction equipment.
- Expedite Vendor Furnished Information (VFI) with suppliers.
QUALIFICATIONS / KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor degree preferred but AA degree required
- Minimum two plus years’ experience in drawing and technical document control
- Demonstrated time management skills
- Proven organizational abilities
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Confidentiality with ITAR related information required
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and adhere to strict deadlines
- Ability to read drawings would be advantageous
- Proficiency in MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Experience working in an Integrated Date Environment (IDE) and familiarity with
uploading/downloading documents preferred
DISCRETION EXERCISED: May provide input to Document Control processes
LIAISES WITH: Engineering\ILS, Supply Chain, Customer, Program Management,
Equipment Suppliers and ILS Support Contractors

o No felony convictions of Theft/Deception or Violent crimes within
seven years from disposition date
o No felony convictions of Drug crimes within three years from
disposition date

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $32.00 per hour
