Job Description:
L3Harris is searching for talented Engineering Test Technicians to join the L3Harris team in IFCS. Candidate must be able to work under little supervision and able to do some basic equipment troubleshooting along with CCA troubleshooting. This is a First shift position for 9/80 B.
Essential Functions:
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings or schematics to perform work duties.
- Works under general supervision. Less detailed instructions are provided and moderate peer review is required.
- Work directly with engineers optimizing test processes and procedures.
- Lean, continuous improvement mindset.
Qualifications:
- Requires developing job knowledge/skills. Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and schematics.
- Possess a positive attitude and the ability to work in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- JTAG/Boundary Scan test knowledge.
- Ability to troubleshoot to component level.
- Ability to do basic equipment troubleshooting.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Good computer skills (Microsoft Windows and Office).
- Professional attitude and excellent verbal/written communication skills.
- Ability to work occasional weekend, off-shift, and overtime work.
