T-Mobile is America’s supercharged Un-carrier, delivering an advanced 4G LTE and transformative nationwide 5G network that will offer reliable connectivity for all. Engineer, Software is located in Bothell, WA will design and code creative and scalable systems and software solutions that address business and technical needs.

Position duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Define and maintain architecture and technology standards for mobile applications.

• Ensure compliance and recommend technologies to enhance T-Mobile systems.

• Integrate device data from backed service and updated UI and sync data to device.

• Manage memory in both Manual Retain-Release and Automatic Reference Counting (ARC) environments.

• Work with storyboards and segues from programmatic navigation and XIBs.

• Work with collection view to create navigation menus to create UI that enhance ease of transactions.

• Work on Core Data and Realm to design Managed Objects and write queries in Objective-C.

• Implement prototype and proof-of-concept applications based on design specifications provided in Sketch.

• Develop pages and UI elements used throughout applications through Storyboards, Size Classes, and Auto Layout constraints.

• Implement Unit Testing of iOS mobile application, transfer application to production, and submit application to Apple Store.

• Perform detailed technical design and implementation of iOS applications.

Telecommuting is permitted, but applicants must live within a reasonable commuting distance.

Skill requirements:

Must have professional experience in:

• Creating IOS Applications using IOS Swift, UIKit, Storyboard, Cocoapods;

• Developing IOS frontend using Swift UI; Review Code as per the IOS, Apple coding standard & provide the comments using Crucible code review tool;

• Creating Dashboard Using Grafana and AppDynamics;

• Writing complex code for Data Persistence using Mongo DB;

• Developing Complex Microservices using SpringBoot Framework;

• Developing Web Applications using IBM WebSphere Commerce Server, AngularJS and Java/J2EE Technologies;

• Review code as per the Java coding standard & provide the comments using Crucible code review tool;

• Measuring website performance and tuning with AppDynamics;

• Developing log search queries using splunk tool to support production;

• Preparing performance report & participate in performance improvement & SQL query tuning with Oracle SQL Developer;

• Developing complex apis with SpringBoot and J2EE Framework; and

• Deploying code using CI/CD pipeline with GITLAB and Docker.

Experience and education requirements:

PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree in Computer Technology, Computer Engineering, or related, and 1 year of work experience.

ALTERNATIVE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Technology, Computer Engineering or related, and 3 years of work experience.

OTHER: Work hours: 40 hours/week. Salary: $148,013 - $158,800 / Year

• The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the state listed. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience.
