Entry Level QC Inspector

PRIMARY PURPOSE:

To become a hands-on QC Inspector for work-in-process and finished parts. Our primary products are metal and metal fabricated parts.

FOCUS:

· Hands-on learning to inspect parts, record data, and create inspection worksheets

· Help ensure raw material suppliers & fabrication vendors are providing quality products and services

· Develop technical skills with metal materials

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

· Some experience with metal materials preferred

- Ablility to read and interpret fabrication drawings

· Ability to follow procedures, prioritize and multi-task

· Proficient computer skills with Microsoft products (Outlook email and Excel spreadsheets)

· Valid driver’s license required to allow visits to local vendors as needed

· No overnight travel required

EDUCATION:

· 2-year Associate Degree or equivalent preferred

· Continued education and training in job related skills a plus

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

· Work Schedule: Monday thru Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm

· Employees: we have about 20 employees working at our 18,000 sq ft warehouse and fabrication shop
