Full Job Description
Seeking Environmental/ Geotechnical Driller/Helper, using air rotary, hollow stem auger and direct push techniques, class A CDL & various state drilling license a plus but not required. Wide range of work which includes, drilling, monitoring well installation, soil sampling, maintenance and repair and other environmental tasks. This job worksite is based out of Roswell, NM but will travel to locations. Heavy equipment experience and ability to problem solve mechanical problems in field a plus. Extensive benefits program and overtime work. 50-75% travel in New Mexico with overnight stay. Located in Southeast New Mexico. Pay based on experience.

Work Location: Based in Roswell, NM but will work in surrounding towns
Preferred Qualifications
- Prefer the Environmental Technician be a self starter with minimal input from Supervision.
- OSHA 40 hour certification and appropriate annual refresher training.
- Best suited candidate will have a high-level understanding of things mechanical.
- Our ideal candidate has the ability to operate heavy equipment including a backhoe, for lift, skid steer and experience in using trailers or has the wiliness to learn.
Physical Demands
- Field activities may require working in unfavorable weather conditions
- Field activities may require working in specialized personal protective equipment (PPE) supplied by employer.
- Environmental Technician will need to be physically capable of performing tasks in supplied PPE
- Environmental Technician will have to be able to lift equipment and carry laboratory samples, up to 50 pounds occupied.
- Remote site, 30 miles from the nearest town. High desert terrain at 3000’.
