Midland University, a private liberal arts university in Fremont, Nebraska, (just outside of metro Omaha) is seeking a Full Time Esports Director.
Job responsibilities include:
- Recruiting and retaining students for the Esports program
- Creating and implementing strategies to grow the Esports community on campus
- Conducting coaching and instruction activities during training, practice and competition
- Coordinating off-season, practice and competition schedules
- Assisting with team travel when necessary
- Running camps, clinics, and promotional events
- Pursuing sponsorship opportunities within the Esports business world
- Ensuring team compliance with all league, conference, and institutional rules and regulations
- Continuously ensuring personal behavior and program reputation are in alignment with Midland University values and brand
Need to have:
- Availability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends, as well as to travel with teams for any face-to-face contests
Strong preference for those with:
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
- Competitive gaming experience
- Experience recruiting high school and/or college students
