• Provide accurate pricing for KIP product offerings in a timely manner.
• Perform detailed material takeoff’s when provided with sufficient project documents.
• Develop accurate, detailed, descriptive materials quotations / estimates.
• Assist RSM, as necessary, regarding the utilization of proper KIP product offering for specific applications.
• Coordinate quoting efforts and strategies with sales reps as required.
• Provide information to Customer Service when a project is booked & participate in handoff meetings with Drafting as required to communicated knowledge used in the winning quote
• Cross reference/note details and conditions shown within project documents with KIP standards.
• Maintain organized quotation logs and files so they may be accessed quickly for reference.
  

• Technical or architectural/engineering degree or 3 to 5+ years applicable industry experience.
• One to Three years estimating experience
• Experience with insulated/metal panel construction a plus
• SALESFORCE experience a plus. BLUEBEAM experience a plus
• Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings.
• Ability to understand and interpret project specifications, addendums, special provisions and all other applicable project documents.
• Excellent organizational and mathematical skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and problem solve with minimal supervision.

• Must be highly proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point) and Outlook and proper utilization and organization of files / folders on a network.

• Good spelling, grammar and written communication skills.
• Good telephone and oral communication skills.
