Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for ETL processes and data integration workflows.
• Perform end-to-end testing of ETL systems, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of data transformations, data mappings, and data loads.
• Validate data integrity, consistency, and conformity across various data sources and targets.
• Identify and document any data quality issues, anomalies, or gaps in the ETL processes and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, data analysts, and business stakeholders, to understand data requirements and business rules.
• Participate in the design and review of ETL specifications and data mappings to ensure they align with business needs and best practices.
• Conduct performance testing and optimize ETL processes for efficiency and scalability.
• Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in ETL testing methodologies, tools, and technologies.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an ETL Tester or similar role, with a strong understanding of ETL processes and data integration concepts.
• Solid knowledge of SQL and experience in querying and manipulating data from various databases and data sources.
• Familiarity with ETL tools and technologies, such as Informatica, Talend, or SSIS.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and troubleshoot data quality issues and ETL process failures.
• Attention to detail and ability to meticulously validate data accuracy and consistency.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling is a plus.
• Relevant certifications in ETL testing or data quality assurance are advantageous.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $13.13 - $45.66 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• Informatica: 1 year (Required)
• SQL: 1 year (Required)
• Data warehouse: 1 year (Required)
