Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Welcome guests.
• Attend to tables
• Receives orders from patrons and waitstaff.
• Prepare and serve wine, spirits, and mixed drinks ensuring proper pouring, and mixing according to recipes established by Stovall house.
• Ensures that fruit and other garnishes are prepared ahead of the opening of the bar.
• Maintains the bar and keeps it clean and organized.
• Attractively displays glasses and liquor bottles.
• Keeps bar supplied with all necessary tinctures, bitters syrups, and batches.
• Collect information on guest preferences to ensure personalized service on every visit.
• Maintain a working knowledge of our liquors, beer, wines, and specialty cocktails.
• Ensures that customers are of legal drinking age by checking photo IDs.
• Collects money from customers for drinks prepared and served.
• Maintain inventory and submits orders or creates requisition forms for liquor, beer, and other bar-related supplies.
• Collect information on guest preferences to ensure personalized service on every visit.
• Maintain a working knowledge of our liquors, beer, wines, and specialty cocktails.

Job Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Extensive knowledge of drink preparation or service.
• Strong food and beverage knowledge
• Excellent interpersonal skills and focus on serving customers.
• Ability to remain calm and excellent conflict management skills.
• Ability to learn cash register software used by bar or restaurant.

Education and Experience:

• Completion of mixology, barkeeping, or other related training required.
• At least one year of related experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods standing and preparing drinks.
• Ability to complete orders quickly and accurately.
• Must be able to lift at least 15 pounds.
• Must be legal drinking age or older.
