Job description
This job description is for the position of Licensed Security Officer Armed/Unarmed for a 5-day event.
We are looking for licensed security officers to ensure the safety and security of our event attendees. As a licensed security officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment, monitoring activity, and responding to any incidents that may occur during the event.
Responsibilities:
- Perform access control duties, including verifying credentials and screening for prohibited items
- Monitor event areas and report any suspicious or unauthorized activity
- Respond to and resolve any security incidents or emergencies that may arise
- Maintain communication with event staff and law enforcement as necessary
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Must hold a valid D and/or G license
- Previous experience working as a security officer is required
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and be physically able to perform the duties of the job
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to maintain a professional demeanor at all times
Payment:
- Payment will be made at the end of the event, and there will be no exceptions to this policy
- Payment amounts listed above are based on the performance, which takes into account factors such as showing up on time, working all days assigned on time, and performing well at the assigned post.
- Unarmed Security Officers will be payed $220 at the end of the event based on performance (Showing up on time, work all days assigned/scheduled and performance at post)
- Armed Security Officers will be payed $300 at the end of the event based on performance (Showing up on time, work all days assigned/scheduled and performance at post)
