The Wedding Shop has a unique opportunity for a creative, positive-minded person to join our team. As an Event Specialist, you will be responsible for creating, designing, and executing vinyl crafts and floral projects, while showcasing exceptional attention to detail and quality workmanship. With training, you must create floral arrangements (live and artificial flowers) for various events based off photo inspirations, flower recipes, or a physical. Ribbon and bow work for bouquets and boutonnieres will also be a regular task. The Event Specialist is a part-time position assisting in flower inventory, organization, workspace cleanliness, as well as basic graphic design for vinyl work. Primary responsibilities also include preparing for and recovering from events. You must be able to take verbal or written instructions to complete a task and work well independently or with a team. Although this is a part-time, weekday position, you will also have the ability to assist with events on-site if you would like, however it is not required. The Wedding Shop serves everyone. Key Responsibilities:

· Use Canva or Photoshop to create graphics for Cricut Design Space.

· Make bows and wrap flowers with ribbon as indicated by the event design.

· Maintain artificial flower inventory and submit purchase requests for supply refills as needed.

· Use Cricut to design and complete various craft projects efficiently and within a designated time frame.

· Assist with warehouse organization.

· Prepare and pack for upcoming events in accordance with company policies and standards.

· Unload & unpack inventory after events and return to the proper place within the warehouse.

· Report any broken, damaged, or missing inventory promptly.

· Operate Windows to find, print, or update files as needed and complete basic administrative tasks.

· Assemble new inventory & prep for inventory control photos.

· Use modern phone-based apps to track work time and location during events.

· Update & track office forms as needed.

· Assist with new process implementation and team projects.

· Maintain flexibility and patience in unfavorable weather conditions during outdoor events.

· Represent the company in a professional manner at all times.

Qualifications:

· Must be comfortable using Windows, Canva, & Cricut Design Space

· Must have at least 1 year of vinyl craft experience

· Strong organizational and memory retention skills

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Possess basic IT skills

· Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize workload

· Previous experience arranging flowers is preferred but not required

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
