Lighthouse Immersive is looking for friendly, extraverted, and experienced Exhibit Hosts to join our team at Lighthouse Artspace in Downtown Detroit! Our Exhibit Hosts interact with visitors on various levels, including, but not limited to visitor assistance, answering questions, retail, and controlling access to the exhibit.

Responsibilities:

· Conducting the Front of House operation of the exhibit

· Greeting visitors upon arrival

· Provide information about regulations, facilities, and the exhibit to visitors

· Firmly yet politely advise visitors of exhibit policies

· Light custodial duties as necessary

· Restocking retail and promoting sales

· Report emergencies and respond to calls for emergency assistance

· Implementation and enforcement of COVID-19 policies and procedures

· Other duties as assigned

Required Skills:

· Ability to walk or stand for extended periods of time

· Ability to work a flexible schedule including evening and weekend shifts

· Superior customer service and communication skills

· Ability to lift 25lbs

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Love of art is a definite plus!

Part-time hours: 25-30 hours per week

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $16.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Night shift
• Weekend availability
• Weekends only
