Facilities Coordinator


Intown Stars offers healthy, positive programing for all ages in Atlanta's first and only 75,000 sq. ft. intown indoor multi-sport facility. Intown Stars has grown exponentially over the last ten years being named one of the country's 500 fastest growing companies. In 2022 Intown moved into a 75,000 sq. ft. building on Dekalb Industrial Way in Decatur. The move and $4million renovation allows for rapid expansion and unlimited opportunities for career growth. Intown Stars has scaled significantly since inception and is operating at a trajectory that is expected to continue, if not elevate, over the next several years.


The ideal candidate for the Facilities Coordinator position has exceptional organizational and communication skills. The position is in direct line to the Facilities Manager role, with many leadership responsibilities and opportunities for advancement in a world-class company.


Facilities Coordinator Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversees building and grounds maintenance.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of Intown Stars events and makes necessary preparations and set up/break down as needed from facilities.
  • Ensures security and emergency preparedness procedures are implemented properly.
  • Ensures the facility is clean and maintained according to company policy and procedures.
  • Handles general accounting and administrative tasks in coordination with the General Manager
  • Manages, coordinates, and reviews service/vendor relationships and performance
  • Conducts and documents regular facilities inspections.
  • Recommends maintenance, mechanical, electrical, and facility design modifications.
  • Ensures vans are properly maintained

Facilities Coordinator Qualifications / Skills:

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • BA in facility management, business, information management, or engineering is a plus
  • 3-5 years in related positions

This is a full time position with benefits and a schedule that may require weekend work from time to time. We are willing to discuss a flexible schedule as long as all job responsibilities are being met during the week. The job is performed onsite (indoors and outdoors) in a dynamic, health-minded, youth sports and event center. Heavy lifting is required along with periodic "office work."
