Tiger Soy, LLC, (Semo Milling, LLC) is seeking to fill a Facility Manager position in Mexico, MO. This position will provide direct management of all day-to-day operations of our soy processing facility. This is an exciting opportunity for those with food processing or grain milling experience. JOB DESCRIPTION

I. Position Purpose

Reporting to the SEMO Milling LLC, Director of Operations, this position provides direct management of all operations located at the Tiger Soy LLC facility in Mexico, MO, including: Employee Safety Programs, Product Safety Programs, MRO and CapEx, Customer Service, and Processing/Shipping Operations. This includes production planning and management, employee training and development, adherence to operation budgets, system and processes development, project engagement and review. This position is responsible for aligning the plant operations and production in accordance with other company functions to the Vision, Values and Strategic Objectives of this organization.

II. Position Responsibilities and Duties

Execute company objectives and strategies to ensure the following duties are managed effectively and timely:

Processing Operations

· Leadership of day-to-day operations through effective employee communication, coaching, and training.

· Direct and lead the team to ensure inspection ready operations.

· Ensure operational performance and desired quality.

· Administer coaching and counseling of operational employees.

· Proactively engage Maintenance and Engineering to improve equipment reliability.

· Work with and help direct maintenance and repairs based on operational priorities.

· Proactively engage the Quality department to ensure consistent adherence to product specifications.

· Exceed expectations regarding unscheduled down time

· Maximize processing capacity and throughput to ensure facility efficiency

· Scheduling of employees to meet production goals.

· Review and participate in daily processing production report.

· Ensure accurate data collection for plant performance, inventories, shipping and raw material needs.

· Work with sales and supply chain to ensure timely packaging and loading of all outbound products.

· Ensure all product protection protocol and processes are intact and implemented.

· Engage in project development and construction processes to ensure they perform as designed and stay within budget.

Quality, Safety and Sanitation

· Ensure customer specifications and needs are achieved.

· Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices.

· Adhere to HARP-C Plan.

· Maintain work area and sanitation level at an BRC “A” level.

· Maintain a safe work environment.

General Management and Leadership

· Forward thinking and planning of processes and system capabilities

· Ensure all regulatory compliance

· Hands on leadership, displaying respect for employees, and giving open and engaged communication to all employees and stakeholders

· Follow established Human Resources procedures, and work effectively with HR Manager as a remote resource in handling of; employee hiring, progressive disciplinary actions as needed, and other HR related matters

· Ensure proper staffing and training within area.

· Evaluate the performance of subordinates.

· Create a team working environment.

· Develop key indicators to measure quality and productivity.

· Utilize the Integrated Management System.

· Administer Coaching and Counseling where needed.

Open Communications to be a team-player and do other tasks as necessary.

III. Essential Skills

This position actively engages in daily operations and in cross-functional management teams to develop and support policies and procedures in accordance with the company Vision, Values, and Strategic Objectives. A hands-on and engaged leadership presence on the floor as needed. Proven experience with food grade processing management is critical to this position. In addition, good oral and written communication skills, computer literacy, strong leadership skills, organizational skills and the ability to effectively work with and direct a team environment are critical.

Education Level:

BS or an equivalent combination of training and experience

Related Experience:

· Minimum of 5 years Food Processing or Grain Milling experience

· Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

· Broad and deep knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures to handle complex tasks and give experienced guidance to others

IV. Physical and Mental Requirements

This position requires physical and mental alertness, attentiveness and stamina for the length of an entire 8-12 hour work day. Occasional to frequent lifting of 50-100 pounds, frequent changing from a seated to standing position and occasional to frequent stair climbing are all physical demands of this position. The position will require some activity outside of the office environment as needed.
