**$750 Hiring Bonus**
SUMMARY
A person in this position functions as a caseworker in the Family Preservation and Reunification Program. This position works with families that have children who are at risk of placement outside the home. This position also assists in reuniting families following an out-of-home placement.
*Positions available in Mifflin, Juniata and Huntingdon
40 hours a week/full-time
Starting rate (based on County, experience and education) $18.50 - $19/hour.
**Hiring Bonus paid in installments.
Flexible schedule to include non-traditional hours to accommodate the families being served.
Work environment is typically in office setting and families' homes.
Requires travel (vehicle provided)

Some duties include:
· Initiating and maintaining contact with families in time frame explained in policies and procedure manual. This includes home visits regularly, based on funding source referral.
· Working with families to create Family Services Case Plans in time frame required.
· Completing all closing paperwork within allotted time frame from funding source, making sure to provide funding source with closing documents.
· Prepare, oversee, and facilitate visits with the families, where it is in their home, in the community, or at the office visitation room.
· Prepare and complete all required documentation including progress notes, in compliance with regulations, company standards, and the policy and procedure manual.
· Prepare and provide court testimonies when required in a professional manner.
· Maintain effective and required contact with all parties affiliated with cases as necessary. Lawyers, funding source, supervisors, etc.
· Provide monthly updates and attend monthly review meetings with funding source.
· Complete all progress notes within the timeframe outlined in the Progress Note Policy.
· Provide services requested by funding source for example, drug testing, homemaker services, transportation, etc.
· Attend 24 hours of job specific training per year and complete all corporate required online trainings.
· Maintain and update required online calendar.
· Maintain good working relationships with the private and public agencies.
Requirements/Qualifications
· Valid PA driver’s license
· Bachelor’s Degree in related field OR bachelor’s degree in UNRELATED field WITH minimum 12 credits in Human Service related course, i.e., psychology, sociology, counseling, etc.
· PREFERRED 1-year related experience/training in working with children and families.
Compensation: $18.50 - $19.00 per hour
