Job description

MBA Transport, a FedEx ground contractor company based in Grayslake Illinois is currently hiring a full time delivery driver to pick up and deliver packages to local residences and businesses in Gurnee and Lindenhurst area. Every other weekend availability is required. Hours: 8 am to 4 pm $22 per hour, uniform and truck provided

Requirements

• must be at least 21 years of age
• clean driving and criminal record
• 1 year of verifiable job-related driving experience(amazon, box truck, cargo van, landscaping-furniture truck, sprinter or similar delivery type
• must be able to pass drug and physical exam (D.O.T)
• physically able to lift and carry packages up to 100 pounds
• must be in good physical condition, excellent customer service, team player

Responsibilities

• Safety must be your top priority at all times
• Organize and load truck to ensure proper delivery
• Deliver and pick-up packages according to company’s specifications
• Follow proper safety protocol, routes, and time schedule
• Conduct inspections of vehicle before and after your route
• Commitment to come on time and complete your daily route
• Good communication and problem solving skills, must speak English
