Overview:
The purpose of this job is the management and supervision of the operations functions for Trustmark Securities Inc.
Responsibilities:
- Cross-train, lead and develop team of associates to promote maximum productivity, engagement, and overall contribution to strategic organizational goals.
- Provide Operational training to Financial Services team.
- Communicate changes to operational procedures and compliance updates to the Financial Services team.
- Manage interaction with Financial Services financial consultants and sales assistants to resolve escalated account issues and/or problems.
- Function as back up support for Financial Consultant and Operations.
- Perform Annual Risk Assessments.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Four-year college education or comparable securities industry experience
- Other: Securities Licenses: Series 7, 63 or 65/66 required within 9 months of hire
- Advanced knowledge of the financial and investment industry
- Advanced knowledge of retirement/non-retirement account types
- Basic knowledge of financial industry compliance regulations
- Time management principles to prioritize workload
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent Written and Oral Communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and multi- tasking capabilities
- Excellent Interpersonal Skills
- Leadership skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite preferred
