DESCRIPTION

HealthStar Physicians of Hot Springs is seeking a skilled, resourceful, and independent worker who can hit the ground running. In this role, the individual will assist in optimization of financial application in conjunction with the mission and business objectives of HealthStar Physicians. Financial specialist will work closely with administration and management regarding both accounts payable and receivable. Tasks include bill completion, processing, and reconciliation, as well as payment processing, reconciliation, and reporting. Other responsibilities include analysis and forecasting, implementation of financial models, budgeting, and other hands-on work in healthcare finance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Bill-pay utilizing Quickbooks Desktop

· Allocating costs & revenue across all departments

· Build quarterly forecasting model and be responsible for annual budgeting process across all departments

· Perform ad-hoc reporting as needed

· Provide individualized business analysis as well as modeling to our clinics and senior physicians

· Research and respond to inquiries from departments and clinics

· Other responsibilities as assigned

EDUCATION

Associates or bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, mathematics, business, or another related field preferred

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

· 1+ years forecasting and financial reporting experience

· Working knowledge of healthcare financial statements or accounting principles

· Proficient in Quickbooks

· Expert Excel skills

· Proficient in Microsoft Suite, particularly Teams and PowerPoint

· Excellent customer service skills

· Strong soft skills in communication, teamwork, and problem solving

· Solid organization and time-management skills

· Ability to prioritize and self-manage

· Ability to travel between clinics if needed
