The E&T Manager responsibility is a part-time increase in scope, for functional manager duties in addition to their regular technical duties. As such, only candidates currently in Systems Engineering at MFC-Dallas will be considered.
The selected candidate will be responsible for the management and development of their team, support of department initiatives and directorate undertakings, and driving technical excellence, affordability, and program execution. For the management and development of their team, the E&T manager is responsible for providing technical coaching and mentoring, work assignments, employee career development, continuous ongoing feedback, and being their employees advocate in opportunity discussions.
To support functional initiative and directorate undertakings, the E&T manager is responsible for coordinating employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessments, salary planning, recognition/disciplinary actions, and engineering competency development.
To drive technical excellence, affordability, and program execution, the E&T manager is responsible for supporting program development, execution of program requirements, adherence to engineering development processes, promoting customer focus, and serving as the technical conscience for their program.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Basic Qualifications:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and have an active DoD Secret security clearance or greater.
- Must be SAP clearable
- Willingness to work onsite in a classified lab environment.
- Proficient in one or more Flight Technologies discipline areas.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
- The ideal candidate will be an existing ADSW/Hypersonics business area Flight Technologies employee
Experience with the following:
- Modeling and Simulation
- Guidance, Navigation, and Control
- Missile System Performance
