A Spanish Mediterranean two-story villa and lounge, La Casita is a quintessential haven featuring a coastal inspired menu by Chef AJ McCloud with ingredient-forward, organic fare and a world-class cocktail program replete with an expansive agave program. Food and beverage is accompanied by ongoing programming including eclectic poolside vibes with live musicians and performance art, as well as a series of daytime and nighttime events for hotel guests and Angelenos to enjoy poolside.

Mission

To manage and assist employees at Sparrow as an extension of the management team. As well as having a focus on large party events, all VIPs and the Noble 33 Program. Work directly with management in assisting the development of our hospitality services. Assist in managing day to day operations for Sparrow, including marketing initiatives, staff scheduling, training and execution, driving top line revenue as continual focus.

Outcome

• Actively engage with SevenRooms guest notes, profiles, and management of reservation books - assisting management with all VIP guest notes on a continuous basis
• Drive innovative ideas for delivering an exceptional dining experience
• Assist in training guides for all host team members
• Boost standards of excellence for all service and host staff

Day to Day Venue Management

• Follow manager delegations as assigned by the General Manager and Assistant General Manager, including but not limited to all opening, mid and closing duties
• Complete all checklists, ensure health department compliance
• Ensure Host Team is completing all tasks and successful
• Actively trying to build VIP Program
• Overview SevenRooms and make notes on important reservations
• Actively Table Touch making presence and ensuring positive experience
• Actively working with staff to create best venue experience possible
• Execute all venue management tasks as outlined by General Manager when scheduled

Ensure brand standards are maintained

• Ensure all service standards are maintained with hospitality focus
• Ensure all guests are attended to and treated with utmost respect by service and host team
• Maintain venue cleanliness and upkeep in common areas

Assist in developing training and classes for Host and VIP services training Ensure we promote the brand in its best interest

Manage La Casita Venue

• Execute responsibilities as previously outlined
• Understand that manager tasks and delegation will evolve and be provided by the General Manager to employees. These tasks must be followed and executed in a timely fashion
• Work assigned manager shifts per week, including but not limited to opening or closing as well as administration or office work. Other duties may evolve.
• Comply with all S.O.Ps and service requests
• Communicate with empathy to floor staff
• Train on all additional methods for managing La Casita
