Position Summary
The Food and Beverage Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that guests have a positive and memorable experience at The Hollywood Roosevelt while utilizing our food and beverage outlets.
The Food and Beverage Coordinator will work closely with the food and beverage management team along with Front Office/Guest Relations to assist guests with directions and information regarding Food and Beverage special events, property amenities, services, and hours of operation with proper communication through Opera, Open Table and Alice. This position will execute all food and beverage outlets’ request internally and externally for our guest. Receive, record, and relay messages accurately, completely, and legibly. Respond to special requests from guests, communicate and respond to all food and beverage request.
Pay Type - Hourly | $23.00 - $25.00
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Knowledgeable of all Food and Beverage special events, hours of operation, closures and communication to all departments
- Answer incoming calls for Food and Beverage
- Attend Food and Beverage weekly meetings
- Make reservations for VIPs and internal/external guest
- Work closely with Front Office and Guest Relations to update guest profiles in Opera and proactively reach out to guests pre-arrival
- Coordination of small party reservations for all outlets

Education and Work Experience
- Must have a minimum 1 year of Food and Beverage Coordinating experience
- Minimum 1 year experience in Hospitality (hotels preferred)
- BS in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or related field (preferred)
- Systems: Opera PMS and Micros PMS experience (preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Open schedule availability (required)
