Full Job Description:
The role of the Food Services Aide is to provide our residents with meals and various food items while adhering to all OSHA and ServSafe practices in addition the policies and procedures of the facility. The Food Services Department is responsible for the preparation and assembly of meal services and maintaining the kitchenettes for the residents while focusing on top of the line customer service, quality of product, and satisfaction that exceeds expectations.
We are looking for strongly motivated individuals who have the ability to work as a team and independently to maintain high-quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Food Service or Kitchen experience preferred
This Position Requires the Following:
The ability to work in a kitchen environment with varying temperature ranges. Ability to perform a variety of job responsibilities including, but not limited to, the operation of equipment and preparation of food. Must be able to stand on feet 8 hours daily, no back or joint issues, and be able to kneel and reach easily. The physical ability to perform job related duties, which may require:
- Able to lift 60lbs unaided
- bending
- stooping
- stretching
- pulling and pushing
- Proficient use of the English Language
