NATURE OF WORK: The Non-Working Lead Installation Foreman assists the Operations Manager in planning and performing the work of employees engaged in the truck equipment installation, Repairs, and trouble shooting.
This position requires maturity, observation and communication skills, accuracy, and the exercise of independent judgment and initiative.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED: The Non-Working Lead Installation Foreman receives direction from the Operations Manager.
SUPERVISION EXERCISED: The Non-Working Lead Installation Foreman oversees the supervision of the employees in the Installation Department.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Assists in planning and organizing the activities of the Installation Department. To include overseeing cross training of other Installation department personnel to obtain the company objective of one truck per day.
Operates all equipment used in Installation Department operations, including, but not limited to,
trucks, plows, spreaders, welders, grind and hand tools.
Inspects shop equipment at frequent intervals to ensure that all aspects of the systems are functioning properly. reports/refers defects or needed repairs to Operations Manager.
Maintains a variety of work order records relating to Installation process and truck inspections activity; keeps records of work, as required. Example, serial number records.
Performs all duties in conformance with appropriate safety and security standards.
Assists in training lower-level employees. And cross training established installation techs.
Establishes and maintains effective and courteous working relationships with customers, other departments of Buyers and co-workers.
Available to work flexible hours pursuant to the needs of the Production schedule.

QUALIFICATIONS PROFILE
Knowledge, Skills and Ability
Knowledge of truck equipment procedures.
Knowledge of the materials, supplies, and equipment used in truck equipment installation, repair and
manufacturing.
Knowledge of machines and tools generally used in truck equipment installation work.
Knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions associated with truck equipment installation.
Knowledge of the hazards and safety precautions of work and the ability to follow safety guidelines and perform work safely.
Ability to use machines and tools generally used truck equipment installation.
Ability to perform heavy manual tasks for extended periods of time.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, to understand and follow written and oral instructions, to read and write English, and to comprehend procedures, policies,
documents, and directives that are necessary for the safe performance of the job.
Ability to perform all functions of the truck equipment installation department.

Pay: $57,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
