RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive operations performance for every Franchise restaurant by providing support and operational expertise.
- Minimum full day with each franchise organization every quarter.
- Follow-up on outstanding issues with Franchisee. Consult for operations improvement in underperforming and failing restaurants. Assess improvement in underperforming Restaurants and failing restaurants.
Conduct a Business Plan, using the approved standard template, annually with assigned franchisees and their operators.
- Align on goals and commitments that will drive the business in sales and profitability.
- Conduct mid-year follow up follow up of the Business Plan with the franchisee and key Team.
- Involve supporting departments as needed to provide input and consultation.
Drive Franchisee restaurant growth and revitalization.
- Assist franchisees in understanding the processes for remodeling and building new restaurants.
- Work closely with the construction team and the franchisee to ensure all projects stay on schedule.
- Follow up to ensure that completed facilities meet required operational specifications.
- Support Franchisee during all remodels and new store openings.
- Actively participate in marketing initiatives and calendar.
- Provide relevant data on DMA operational performance, updates on operations initiatives and new product rollouts.
- Provide support to all LTO’s, product tests, and other marketing initiatives.
Assist Franchisee regarding competence with Jimmy John's training programs that impact the restaurant performance.
- Drive and support LMS implementation.
- Work in conjunction with Training Team to identify Training stores and managers across the country.
- Timely completion of all administrative functions and requirements of the position.
- Ensure the effective use of G&A expenses and expenditures are within AOP guidelines.
- Other duties as observed necessary or assigned
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- 4 Year/Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field preferred
- Required Minimum 7 years in progressive supervisory franchise management or District level multi-units operations
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Professional business acumen
- Must be able to build credibility and trusting relationships
- Strong understanding of relevant business software and supporting hardware
