Your Role

If you have a passion for helping others through visual storytelling and are excited about the opportunity to create engaging content for a variety of channels, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity. This is a part-time, project-based role with the potential for international exposure and impact.

Responsible for capturing high-quality audio and video content for an episodic web series for both studio and location shoots in collaboration with the producer:

• Manage set up and breakdown of camera, lighting, and sound for video shoots
• Attend and contribute to pre-production meetings
• Organize and upload video files
• Direct and coordinate on-screen personalities
• 1 episode consists of 2 interview sessions. Each interview session is 2-3 hours including setup, shoot, and breakdown time.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a videographer, cinematographer, or similar role
• Proficient skill level in audio recording
• Proficient skill level in lighting techniques for studio and on-location shoots
• Experience directing multi-camera interviews
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in production of live-streamed events on platforms such as Vimeo and YouTube, including set-up, technical troubleshooting, and delivery of high-quality live broadcasts
• Experience creating video content for social media, YouTube, or other digital channels preferred
• Demonstrated expertise in all aspects of video production, including filming, editing, and post-production (see salary adjustment below)

Salary:

• Videographer rate range is $50-$75 per episode (1 episode per month)
• Editor rate range is $100-$125 per episode (1 episode per month)
