Seeking a part-time medical receptionist to join our team at our small psychiatric office serving Lisle, Naperville and the surrounding area. Our ideal candidate must have excellent customer service skills and be comfortable working with technology. Candidate must have strong multi-tasking skills and the ability to work under pressure during busy times. Our ideal candidate will have a warm demeanor while maintaining professionalism when interacting with our patients and their families.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Interacts with patients over the phone and in-person to assist with appointment scheduling, prescription refills, collecting and processing payments
• Completes check-in and check-out procedures
• Sends detailed messages to providers to communicate patient questions or concerns
• Receive faxes, document uploads and file in patient chart
• Optimize patient satisfaction by prompt and accurate attention to patient requests

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in a healthcare setting
• Proper telephone etiquette
• Outstanding customer service skills
• Experience with standard computer applications

HOURS:

• 3 days per week total of approximately 20 hours with potential to add additional hours if desired based on job performance and skill set
• Must be available to close the office at least two days per week (5:30 close on Monday, 5:00 close on Friday)
