FRONT DESK RECEPTIONIST: Total Spine is a multi-location medical practice that treats patients with spine and orthopedic conditions. We have locations in Melbourne, Titusville and Orlando. Our practice is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist with orthopedic/spine experience preferred, bilingual a plus.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Process medical records requests and faxes
  • Fax, scan and file documents
  • Answer incoming calls and inquiries
  • Welcome patients and visitors
  • Check patients in and out
  • Collect patient copays
  • Notify Medical Assistant of patient arrival
  • Create, organize and manage patient's charts
  • Update patient records and insurance
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments
  • Explain intake forms to new patients

Requirements:

  • Familiar with EMR systems
  • Excellent documentation, communication, and computer skills
  • Proficient with Office 365
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Maintains a positive, friendly and caring attitude towards patients and staff
  • Possess a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism
  • Organized and able to manage time efficiently
  • Ability to effectively communicate to staff and patients
  • Orthopedic/spine experience preferred
  • Bilingual a plus
